Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner and Business Analyst who combines strategic product thinking with exceptional design skills. This role requires a unique blend of product management expertise, UX/UI design proficiency, and analytical rigor to drive our web and mobile applications forward.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Ownership
- Define and maintain product roadmap aligned with business objectives and user needs
- Prioritize features and backlog items with clear, data-driven reasoning
- Make strategic decisions on feature scope, technical trade-offs, and release planning
- Balance business value, technical feasibility, and user experience in all product decisions
- Communicate product vision and priorities effectively to stakeholders and development teams
2. User Experience & Interface Design
- Design comprehensive web applications and mobile app experiences from concept to completion
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and interactive designs using Figma
- Ensure design consistency across all platforms by adhering to existing UI design systems
- Apply appropriate design elements, patterns, and components that match current brand guidelines
- Conduct usability reviews and iterate on designs based on user feedback
3. Business Analysis & Documentation
- Write complete, detailed customer journey maps covering all user flows
- Document comprehensive edge cases, error states, and exception scenarios
- Create thorough user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Define functional and non-functional requirements for development teams
- Maintain up-to-date product documentation and specifications
4. Quality Assurance & Testing
- Perform detailed QA reviews across web and mobile platforms
- Identify UI/UX inconsistencies, bugs, and usability issues before release
- Create and maintain comprehensive test scenarios covering all edge cases
- Conduct thorough regression testing on new features and updates
- Collaborate with QA team to ensure quality standards are met
5. Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Present product proposals, designs, and progress updates to leadership
- Manage expectations and negotiate scope with cross-functional teams
- Gather and synthesize feedback from users, customers, and internal teams
- Build consensus around product decisions and priorities
Required Qualifications
1. Experience
- Minimum 5+ years as Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in software development
- Proven track record designing successful web applications and mobile apps (iOS/Android)
- Extensive experience creating customer journeys and user flows for complex applications
- Demonstrated success in agile/scrum product development environments
- Experience working with development teams using modern tech stacks (TypeScript, React, Next.js preferred)
2. Design Skills
- Superior proficiency in Figma (advanced prototyping, component libraries, auto-layout, variants)
- Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design
- Deep knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first approaches
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems
- Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user interfaces
3. Analytical & Documentation Skills
- Strong ability to write clear, comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria
- Expert at identifying and documenting edge cases, error states, and exception flows
- Excellent attention to detail in both documentation and design work
- Proficiency in creating process flows, wireframes, and technical specifications
- Experience with requirements management and documentation tools
4. Product Management Skills
- Excellent reasoning and justification skills for feature prioritization
- Strong understanding of business value, ROI, and opportunity cost analysis
- Ability to balance stakeholder needs, technical constraints, and user experience
- Experience with prioritization frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW, Kano, etc.)
- Data-driven decision-making approach using analytics and user research
5. Quality Assurance
- Exceptional eye for catching UI/UX errors and inconsistencies
- Strong ability to identify bugs, edge cases, and potential issues before production
- Experience conducting comprehensive QA reviews across platforms
- Understanding of testing methodologies and quality standards
- Ability to create detailed bug reports and reproduction steps
6. Technical Understanding
- Solid understanding of web and mobile development constraints and capabilities
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js) and mobile development (iOS/Android)
- Understanding of API design, data models, and system architecture basics
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices
- Understanding of performance optimization principles

3. Certifications (Bonus)
